Scratches on iPhone XS Max

I've been using it without a case and without a screen protector since launch and I'm amazed how there's not a single hairline scratch on the screen. My iPhone X was full of hairline scratches from day 1, so this is a nice screen upgrade for me. Have you got any scratches on your XS or XS Max yet?

So I had the Silver X before my black XS max and noticed does not have as many scratches. I'm also thinking because it's the black one. Do you have a black one now? Regardless yes mine has been great. I don't use it naked though unless I'm at the house. I'm just a bit too clumsy to carry it naked in public. I also don't use a screen protector (can't stand them)

I had the Silver X and now the Gold XS Max and iPhones feel premium without a case, to be honest.

Been using my XS naked since I got it a week or so after release and my screen is super scratched up

I have two pretty bad scratches on mine. Mostly only visible in direct sunlight but pretty annoying.

You're right, it's so annoying when you find out that your phone's screen has a scratch.

I've been getting scratches. I use my XS Max Full Naked at all times. Seems like normal amount of scratches as I've carried all my iPhones nude. I'm thinking your sub consciously taking additional care of your XS since it's new.

I guess you're right lol I take care of any new phone I get. But even tho I cared about the iPhone X that I had at the same level of care as my current XS Max, so I'm guessing that Apple improved the screen a bit.

Silver xs max and I got a hairline crack/scratch within the second week. My 7+ went two years nearly without a single blemish but some paint missing by the charge port 😡

The paint peeled off my first 7 which they replaced. Second time I didn't bother.

I don't have a single scratch on mine. I never put it in a pocket with any other items and I'm pretty careful where I set it down but I have to say I'm pretty impressed it isn't scratched at all

Well I baby my Xs and still get hairline scratches, so they happen. They can only be seen from an angle and under direct sunlight, so they don't bother me, but there is a lot of them. They are definitely lighter than the ones I got in my 6s after a year with the same screen though

Lol check your sides... I was shocked after I check the sides of my X after a year of not using case. Yes indeed, screen and back have little to no scratches but the sides....

That was also a problem in the X for me but it's no longer a problem with the XS

Got one scratch on the back. Nothing on the front. Got myself a nearly invisible curved screen protector before I end up scratching the front.

Somehow I have two, one fairly big but hard-ish to see on the back glass, and a very very small one on the edge of the display. Don't have any clue where they came from I've been super careful to prevent scratching.
